I have never seen a chainsaw cut like this! I see why consumer reports says ego battery chainsaws are the best. I was impressed with their string trimmer too.

It was recommended in Consumer reports so we tried it and now have three. It is so easy to use and works longer than we can… hours! Not noisy like gas , very easy to start and stop so you don’t feel you have to keep going but can set down to deal with what you have cut.

I have used chainsaws before and my experience with this one is that it is terrific for beginners and people who don't know engine maintenance. it is more expensive than a gas equivalent and less powerful, but on the other hand there is no engine maintenance to do and no fuel to worry about. Having the ability to chose between a small/light battery and a big/heavier one also give flexibility to customize the usage for the need on a given day. I have used this to cut trees at the large end of what it can handle and it has been ok, but it's at its best on all the smaller one

My 4th EGO product and it makes me want to saw down every tree in sight, it's so easy to use. No mess with gas and no chain to pull start, just pick it up and go. It's a 14" and I cut down a maple with around a 13-14" trunk base. Very powerful!
