Works great but the battery is extremely heavy. ordered the strap to add on but has no place to hook on to

No more fighting with starting a gas unit, oil changes, spark plugs, air filters and more. This system works extremely well. The line feed so far works without jaming. Battery last for up to three yard trimming rounds without a recharge.

Obviously you do not use the edger as much in most cases but I did use it to finally edge my grass and it worked great. I do use the edger about every two weeks. It works wonderfully. Although it's a bit pricey but I believe that its's a great investment.

Purchased the combo little bit more than a month ago and got to say I'm totally impressed by Ego. The power of the battery is outstanding and the edger and trimmer are the equivalent to any gas powered combo. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for the reason that seems to be common here....while trimming literally all the grass you trim, you will be wearing it, come on Ego engineering you can do better then that, make the protective shield bigger or whatever , but there's no excuse for that to happen. Other than that, I love it and would totally recommend this product to anyone interested.
