I'm into my 3rd season with the Ego z6 52" mower. Overall, I'm pleased with it. It's much more nimble than a compact utility tractor with a drag-behind mower deck. I love not having to mess with gas/diesel, spark plugs, etc. This morning I changed the blades for the first time. All the video instructions I've found online are for the smaller, 42" model. The videos make it look quite easy. If you're trying to decide which model to buy, keep in mind that blade changes on the 52" may be more challenging. The procedure is the same, but of course it's a bigger, heavier deck. Once you disconnect everything, dragging the deck out from under the mower is a bit of a chore. Putting it back together is more of a chore. Once you get everything aligned, you'll need to raise the rear of the deck just so, in order to replace 2 metal attachment pins. You can get pretty close by lifting the rear of the deck with one hand then nudging a short 2x4 underneath. Then you need to fasten those pins/bolts with special cotter pins, which I found fairly stiff and hard to insert. Getting the front-end bracket aligned and the pin holes aligned at the same time can be tricky. I discovered that for fore/aft alignment , rolling the mower back and forth over the deck can be much easier than dragging the deck itself back and forth. Other users probably have discovered more techniques to make blade changes easier. By the way, I'm almost 70 and did it by myself. If you're younger or have a helper, you may find it a piece of cake. But please don't forget to disengage the batteries and pull the key first.
