Operates fine if you can lift it. Way too heavy. I’m going to sell it.

Have been happy with all previous EGO purchases, however this will not work for me. After hours of use this junk and will part ways. If I was only working with a paved driveway perhaps it could be of more use but for all other areas it is just more work than shoveling. Slides poorly, wants to dig in on grass or dirt below snow, and feels cheaply made compared to other EGO products. Maneuvering this around was far more wearing on me than any shoveling and did the job slower. Just wish it had snowed sooner after purchase so I could have had a chance to get a return for refund as I will never use it again.

This snowblower actually works better than I thought! It truly does throw the snow 20 to 25 feet and clears my driveway and walkway pretty well. A shoulder strap is highly recommended due to the overall weight of the unit and battery.

I knew it would heavy based on the battery size, but I wanted the largest capacity battery on the in case that decided to purchase more products in the future. first and foremost it did an amazing job. I have an Ariens 24 and the auger cable snapped after the first snow so all I ended up using this to clear snow from two different occasions. it can handle probably up to 6 inch snowfall and does an amazing job of clearing and throwing. I was really surprised adjust how far it was throwing the snow and the battery life so I highly recommended, but if you’re older, I honestly would go with a smaller version with a smaller battery and get an extra battery. but if you’re in the mindset like I was that you might want to buy other ego products, then get this with no hesitation. I actually bought a over the shoulder clip that I can attach to it to help alleviate some of the weight so I’m looking forward to next winter.
