EGO 2830075001 Electric Assembly

I was sent a bad PCBA twice ( I think the first exchange resulted in them sending the original part back ) . The third part received tested within EGO specifications confirming good MOSFETs . Exchange and reorder times were very slow resulting in a multi-week hang-up with the repair. When you finally track down a phone number, it went straight to voicemail.

I called before purchasing this part since there were others that also seemed like they would work. (A mouse had chewed some wires in my mower over the winter.) I also bought a smaller version of the eletric assembly which was similar to a different part in the mower, but not exact. Luckily I didn't need to replace that part.
Replacing this part meant taking apart the entire machine, which was complicated but doable. The machine works great now. However, the part is expensive, and if I had to pay someone to replace it, I would have opted to buy a new mower, since they have come way down in price. (My mower is about 10 years old and more expensive than they are now.)

My EGO LM2100SP would start then die followed by a flashing amber light. When it did run it would ramp up the rpm's regardless of the load on the motor. After much research, I found that replacing the main PCBA was the only permanent solution. Cutler's was one of the few suppliers to have this part in stock. The price was reasonable, and it shipped free & quick. Installation was quite involved as you have to disassemble the entire motor assembly to get the PCBA out. Thankfully, there are videos on the internet that show how to do it. My mower is working perfectly once again.
I originally had ordered the PCBA for the "push" version of my mower (which has different wiring). Cutler's authorized the return of the incorrect part and quickly shipped the right one. I am very happy with the service I received and would recommend them to anyone looking for EGO parts.

The part fixed my problem, although it was very hard to replace. Not this companies fault. EGO should make things so people can work on them more easily. I replaced the 2830075001 Electric Assembly. Which is actually the printed circuit board, or power module. The motor would only run a second and then shut off with flashing lights. Also as a note, the motor would continue to run if I removed the blade from underneath. Course it wouldn't cut grass that way. LOL.
