There's no compromise with a Honda battery powered HRC mower. The powerful 2.0 kW motor offers 33% more power and torque than our residential mowers. It's ready to tackle the toughest mowing conditions. Our design features a forced air system that drives fresh air over key components inside the motor, allowing them to stay cooler and perform well in demanding outdoor operating conditions.

Superior performance

Honda's motor provides high torque that maintains RPMs to let the lawn mowers power through thick or tall grass and maintain a clean, even cut without bogging down or stalling. In addition, the motors are designed to combine high power with mid-level power consumption while providing a superior cut and bag fill.

Cruise Control: Simple, precision speed control

The HRC-BE offers Honda's exclusive electric Cruise Control transmission allows precise speed control that's fully adjustable from 0 to 4 mph. Designed for commercial use, it's more powerful and offers greater durability. A simple lever makes it easy and convenient to increase / decrease your speed. Cruise Control maintains the high performance you expect from Honda, outperforming the previous HRC216 gas powered mower - even with a heavy grass bag.

Roto-Stop®: Transport the mower without the blades

Honda's Roto-Stop® blade stop system allows you to use the mower's self propel without having to use the blades. Saves battery life while transporting the mower and allows you to transport over gravel and other areas.

Honda MicroCut® Twin Blades: superior mulching and bagging

Honda's exclusive twin blade MicroCut System® uses four cutting surfaces that result in ultra fine clippings for superior mulching and more clippings per bag. The end result? A perfect cut, less time emptying the bag, and less work for you.

Rugged, durable steel deck

The 21" heavy duty steel deck is rugged and built to last. Deck guards extend along the sides to increase durability. Designed for superior air flow, the deck also improves your cut quality.

Larger diameter 1" tubing, better supports and stays, and more durable cables mean the HRC has the strongest frame in its class.
